Spencer Social – Saturday 21st April!
Roma has kindly organised a social on 21st April at Putney Lawn Tennis Club, Balmuir Gardens, London SW15 6NG
Join us for our first official social of 2018 and get to know other team members and what we all look like without hat and goggles!
Party starts at 7.30pm with finger food. Live band Fluke, with our own Chris Snook, will be playing from 8.30pm. Cash bar. Bar closes at 11:00 pm. Carriages at 11:30 pm.

Next Spencer Social! Let’s make this a big one everyone. Hoping to see as many of you there as possible, as this should be a really cool event.
Hampton Pool is a heated outdoor pool and on the 12th April they are turning off their flood lights and hosting a moonlight swim for a couple of hours. Plan would be to have dinner somewhere close by before hand (if you want) and then swim after (of course with the 1 hour compulsory gap). Then we’ll most likely organise shared taxis/lifts back for those not driving themselves.
All you need to do is call 020 8255 1116 and provide your firstname and surname and perhaps mention you’re with Spencer. Tickets are £8.50 per adult and £4.25 per child.

“Dear Fellow Spencer Swimmer,
I am delighted to provide further detail regarding the inaugural Spencer Open Water 1500m championship!
It is a race, but it will also be a great day out, with scenery, spectacle, food and drink.
To be held in Oxford in the Thames, start time 11am on Sunday 1st September 2019, this is a straight 1500 m river race. The club will be making awards by 5-year age categories.
We will follow the race with fabulous coffee and cake, other beverages are available.
After that we will meet for a picnic lunch on the banks of the river and whatever river dips take your fancy.
This is really a fantastic addition to the Spencer calendar and your committee and coach hope for an excellent turn out on the day.

After last year’s success, this year’s AGM will be preceded by a fun gala at Putney leisure centre which promises to be an action packed fun and competitive swim session.
We’ll then go to Putney Tennis Club to have the meeting where we announce the new committee, give out the much deserved awards and discuss club issues. Most importantly of course there will be an exciting array of FOOD.
Look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible!
Spencer Swim Team has a strong history of success and we compete locally, nationally and internationally throughout the year. We have often won the Cupar Cup for the Top Team at the GB Long Course nationals and have a number of World, European and British records for relays across the age groups.
